Companhia Sul Americana de Pecuária S.A. is a Brazilian company based in Barretos-SP, founded in 2013 resulting from a spin-off of Minerva S.A. aiming to separate and concentrate all its live cattle operations, which were carried out since 2003.
The company is the largest cattle exporter in South America and since the beginning of its operations it has exported more than 2 million live animals to more than 15 destinations.
The company also operates cattle feedlots in 4 different Brazilian states to produce slaughter cattle for sale in the Brazilian domestic market, with a static capacity of 50 thousand heads of cattle.
The company is part of the Vilela de Queiroz Group, a traditional family business group from Barretos-SP, which has been operating on different fronts in agribusiness for over 60 years, controlling, in addition to CSAP, Minerva S.A. (largest beef exporter in South America) and also several agricultural and logistics companies in Brazil and Paraguay.
